Managing Partner
Mohamed Hassan, the Managing Partner of the Law Firm, is an accomplished commercial, investment, intellectual property, and tech lawyer with over eight years of extensive experience navigating national and international legal frameworks. His expertise spans multiple sectors, and he has earned a reputation for efficiency and effectiveness in handling complex legal matters. Known for his strong client relationships and collaborations with local officials, legal professionals, and government agencies, Mohamed possesses deep insights into the justice system. Academically, Mohamed Currently is PhD student at Istanbul Medeniyet University. Beyond that he graduated with first-class honors from the University of Hargeisa with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He then pursued a master's degree in Commercial and Investment Law at Erciyes University in Turkey, where his dissertation compared company laws in the Horn of Africa with those in Turkey. He also graduated with a second master's degree in Intellectual Property and Development at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea, sponsored by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). His academic excellence is further highlighted by prestigious fellowships, including the Mandela Washington Fellowship (finalist in 2024) and the Pan-African Trade & Investment Promotion (TIP) Fellowship. Mohamed has also contributed to academia by publishing. Professionally, Mohamed is a registered lawyer with the Somaliland Lawyers Association and has a proven track record in legal aid, with numerous successful cases. He served as a judge at the Benadir Regional Court for four years, where he gained invaluable experience in civil, criminal, commercial, land, and labor disputes. He is also a certified member of Law Business Research LTD in London, the African Lawyers Association, and the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.
